Dig in. Drink up, at one of the best restaurants in Curacao. “Un Sunchi di parti ROAST”
It’s extremely difficult to get a reliable supply of product in Curacao, the suppliers are always out of stock. And this problem existed before Covid-19.
Brandon and I are both from agrarian backgrounds, his grandfather had a farm in South Africa where he spent his childhood, and then visited every year after they moved to Holland; my grandfather had a cocoa plantation and pig farm in Trinidad and my Dad after he retired farmed a one acre plot by himself, which supplied our household and friends with food and livestock.
The taste of fresh, not frozen vegetables and livestock is incomparable. And most people experience this taste primarily in simple home meals….stewed chicken, chicken pot roast…simple, hearty meals.
But where can you get this food in a gourmet dish experience?
This was the start of our journey; the desire to resolve a supply issue while supporting our local farmers, fishermen, livestock producers; coupled with taking Curacao's local culinary bar to a gourmet experience.
To all the local producers who have been a support to us in this journey, thank you for working with us, for helping us…this would not be possible without our combined synergy.
Together we have created something exceptional that we can be proud that it’s a combined effort: “yu di Korsou” & immigrants – old and new.
